The problem

Printing on a cheque is not a design problem — it is a millimetre problem

Three things ruin a cheque, and all of them happen before you notice.

The browser scales

Printing from a web page passes through browser and driver scaling, so the boxes drift by millimetres. It is the most documented complaint about the alternatives.

Amounts in words go wrong

Arabic needs duals, gender and case endings — not literal translation. And the Jordanian dinar has three decimal places, while most libraries assume two.

No ledger

A cheque printed is a cheque gone. Who received it? Was it deposited? Returned? Paper stubs answer late, and spreadsheets forget.

How it works

Three steps, and once per printer

Calibrate your printer Fill the cheque and check the preview Print — with no scaling

Amount in words

The right word in the right box

Arabic amounts written with real grammar — duals, gender agreement and accusative case — not literal translation. And the Jordanian dinar carries three decimals (fils/1000), because Jordan is not a hundred.

Five protection-word formats (“only”, “and no more”, both…), and whatever is already pre-printed on the paper is subtracted so it never prints twice.

Available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.

Features

From printing a cheque to running its whole life cycle

Ledger and life cycle

Every printed cheque is recorded automatically: payee, amount, date, serial number. Then it moves through draft → printed → delivered → deposited → cleared, returned or cancelled, with an audit trail.

Chequebooks and calendar

Chequebooks with number ranges and duplicate protection, a calendar for post-dated cheques, and Windows notifications before the due date. Plus a payee directory with autocomplete.

Multiple companies and accounts

Company → bank account → chequebook → cheque. Each company keeps its own ledger and payees. Each account carries its bank, template, currency and country — so a Jordanian company can hold a Saudi account and a US one, each printing by its own country’s rules.

Internal control

Maker–Checker approval: one employee prepares, another approves with their own password, and nobody can approve their own cheque. Role-based accounts, and every cheque records who prepared and who approved it.

Vouchers and incoming cheques

Payment and receipt vouchers with separate serial numbering per company, plus incoming cheques with collection tracking.

Four-language interface

Arabic, English, French and Spanish, with full right-to-left flipping in Arabic. A clean modern light theme — not a 1990s window.

All features in detail

International

34 countries · 406 banks

Each country defines the paper size, the currency and its real decimal places, the date format, crossing and non-endorsement wording, whether the place of issue is required, and the presentment period.

Jordan — calibrated and confirmed

166 × 82 mm, one unified template for every Jordanian bank. It works from first run with no setup.

Other countries — calibration wizard

Templates are provisional and need calibrating on your side. The wizard lets you dial in any bank within minutes, and the setting is saved.

E-13B (MICR) code line

Magnetic code line generation — a feature you rarely find in this class. Intended for markets that allow printing a complete cheque on blank paper (US and Canada).

In Arab markets you print onto the bank’s own paper, and touching the code line is not permitted — which is why the restricted-zone guard blocks it automatically.

FAQ

The questions that come before buying

Will it work with my printer?

Yes — Sheek does not depend on a particular printer model. It generates a PDF at exact millimetre coordinates and sends it to the printer without scaling. The calibration wizard dials in the offset for your printer, and that offset is saved per printer.

Do I need internet?

Only for licence verification. After the last successful check it keeps running for up to 21 consecutive days offline. Your cheque data is never uploaded — only the device identifier is sent.

What if I change my computer?

The licence is tied to one device. Changed machines? Contact us and we will move the licence for you.

Does it support my bank?

The database holds 406 banks across 34 countries. In Jordan the size is unified (166 × 82 mm) for every bank, calibrated and confirmed. For banks elsewhere the templates are provisional, and the calibration wizard lets you dial yours in within minutes.

Does the trial need a card or an email?

No. The 14-day trial includes every Business feature and is tied to your device only — no sign-up, no card, no email.

Where is my data stored?

In a single database file on your machine, with an automatic daily backup to a folder on that same machine. There is no cloud sync and no data upload.
